How Does Our Testing Process Work?

Our Evaluation Process
Step 1: Make an Appointment Our intake coordinator will ask you some questions about your reason for assessment and set up intake and testing appointments with one of our psychologists.
Step 2: Complete Intake Paperwork Complete a developmental history or adult intake form so we can learn more about the reasons for testing.
Step 3: Intake Appointment You will meet with your psychologist to review your concerns in more detail.
Step 4: Collaboration Your psychologist will begin collecting information such as behavior surveys and work samples from parents, teachers, and other professionals.
Step 5: Testing Day(s) We will work with you or your student throughout the day. Testing appointments are typically scheduled like a school day, with morning and afternoon sessions and a lengthy lunch break. Testing may be broken into multiple days as needed.
Step 6: Synthesizing Information Your psychologist will integrate all the information gathered into a report that includes scores, explanations of results, personalized recommendations, and resources for you or your child.
Step 7: Feedback Appointment You will meet with your psychologist to review test results, have your questions answered, and formulate a plan going forward.
Step 8: Follow Up Our psychologists are always available for follow-up as needed.
