Empowering Parents and Caregivers
Join our 6-week group designed to empower parents and caregivers. We aim to provide the tools you need to feel more confident in everyday parenting. This group is led by child psychologist Dr. Emiliya Adelson. She will share brain-based strategies rooted in psychology and neuroscience research.
Understanding Child Development
In this group, you will learn about your child’s brain development. You will also gain insights into how your own brain works. Understanding these concepts is crucial for effective parenting.
Building Strong Connections
Sessions will focus on increasing connection and strengthening your relationship with your child. You will develop skills to parent proactively. Creating a household environment that sets children up for success is essential.
Navigating Emotions
Participants will learn how to help children navigate big emotions. Emotional regulation is a key focus. You will also recognize and manage your own parenting triggers. Understanding child behaviors and effective discipline will be covered as well.
Who Should Join?
This group is appropriate for parents of children with or without mental health diagnoses. The group is most appropriate for parents of children ages 3 -14; however, the parenting tools will apply for children of all ages. We welcome all who want to enhance their parenting skills.
