The Center for Psychological and Educational Assessment is seeking a Pediatric or School Psychologist to join our well-established practice serving the Atlanta metro area for over 20 years.
We are experienced clinicians serving clients and families ages 2 through young adulthood and offer a range of diagnostic assessment services. Successful candidates will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and adolescents presenting with developmental, learning, and social/behavioral issues. Ideal candidates will have expertise in working with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with families, schools, and referral sources. We employ a collaborative approach in working with consulting speech therapists as well as families, school, and communities, and are looking for someone who is passionate about assessment and eager to work within a supportive group practice.
There may be an opportunity for testing via telehealth if desired. We are a private-pay practice, allowing you more flexibility to follow best practices, and you will set your own schedule.

We are seeking a clinician with the following training and skill set:

Doctoral degree in clinical or school psychology (The right postdoc or non-licensed candidate may be considered)

Experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, and families
-
Knowledge and experience (2 years minimum) in comprehensive ADHD, ASD, LD, and other developmental and diagnostic evaluations

Experience working collaboratively with transdisciplinary providers including educators, therapists, doctors, case workers, advocates, etc.

Understanding of ADA, IDEA, 2e, and special education services including IEP, BIP, and 504 Plans
-
Licensed in the state of Georgia or license-eligible

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Consistently pursuing opportunities for continuing education

Must have professional liability insurance

Self-motivated and work efficiently and effectively to complete: clinical interviews, family history intakes, and/or psychological reports in a timely manner

Ability to demonstrate computer literacy sufficient to operate a personal computer using psychological tests, word processing, database and spreadsheet programs, web-based scheduling and EHR software, and basic typing skills sufficient to efficiently produce psychology reports and correspondence

Ability to show competence in working collaboratively in a team-based environment
