Lauren Buono, Ph.D.

Dr. Lauren Buono is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in Pediatric Neuropsychology. She earned her B.A. from Duke University and completed her graduate studies, obtaining an M.A. and Ph.D. from Georgia State University. Dr. Buono completed her clinical internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Veterans Administration Consortium in Augusta, Georgia, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Hematology/Oncology Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). Licensed in both Georgia and Texas, she brings extensive expertise to her practice. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Buono has conducted assessments in various settings, including children's hospitals, private schools, and private practices. She specializes in evaluating individuals from infancy to young adulthood, examining neurodevelopment, the impact of acute and chronic illness, traumatic brain injury, genetic disorders, attentional disorders, and learning differences. Dr. Buono is dedicated to providing comprehensive assessments to support the well-being and development of her young patients.
