Comprehensive Pediatric Services

Our goal is to assist in improving the quality of life for children who face the challenges associated with a wide range of developmental and behavioral problems.  We provide services which are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual child.  We believe that children can more fully realize their potential through the determination of their unique pattern of strengths and weaknesses.  Through diagnostic evaluation, personalized recommendations and intervention, we strive as child psychologists to help children achieve success in their everyday lives.  We specialize in individually tailored assessments for Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Autism Spectrum Disorders including Asperger's Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and emotional issues. 

We offer multidisciplinary clinical evaluations which include:

• Psychological

• Educational/Achievement

• Speech/Language

• Occupational Therapy

These assessments are integrated into a personalized profile of strengths and weaknesses as well as specific interventions for your child.  We feel that is it critical to integrate all aspects of a child's functioning in order to plan the most appropriate educational and behavioral interventions to ensure success.  You may also choose just one or two of the above assessments depending upon the difficulties your child may be experiencing.  We will be happy to speak with you regarding your situation and suggest the most appropriate type of evaluation for your needs. 

We are available to attend your school-related conferences such as IEP or Student Support Team meetings.  We are also able to provide behavioral intervention in school and home settings, and can set up a home program for handling behavioral issues. 

Social skills groups are now forming for the summer!  Contact the center as soon as possible in order to reserve your space.  Children are placed in groups appropriate for age and current level of social functioning.  Please note that we do not charge a fee for our social skills assessment.

New!   The Center has added home and school-based consultation services.  Our staff is available to visit your home or your child's school in order to observe and provide suggestions regarding intervention.
