Social Savvy
Social Skills Building Groups for ages
3-17
The Center for Psychological and
Educational Assessment is pleased to offer a new social skills group for
the spring of 2011. Our new program, Social Savvy, focuses on teaching
practical and age appropriate social skills to children ages 3-17.
Applicability and practicality are at the heart of our new program
philosophy. Skills taught range from appropriate greetings to how to
make and keep friends. Students are grouped according to age and
functionality and there is a maximum of 6 students in each group.
The groups run for 6-week sessions and
meet once a week. The total cost for the 6-week session is $300. All
sessions are held at our Marietta center location. Groups are lead by
Alison Ratner, LCSW and social skills expert. A registration form and fee
are required to hold your child's spot in the group and to cover the
cost of supplies and materials. Groups will not be held if there are not
3 students enrolled. Meeting times are listed below. Please call our
office to confirm that there is an opening in your child's age range.
